Bielinski, Martin and Wright Earn Individual Preseason Honors

PHILADELPHIA – Seniors Kat Bielinski and Sabrina Martin, along with graduate student Amelia Wright, were selected to the American Preseason All-Conference Team, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. The Temple women's lacrosse team was also picked to finish fifth in the 2026 American Preseason Coaches Poll.

Bielinski started all 16 games last season and earned All-American Second Team honors to conclude the year. She recorded two assists on the season, coming against Delaware on February 7 and Drexel on April 23. Bielinski led the Owls in ground balls with 35, ranking third in the American, and forced 17 turnovers, including four games with multiple caused turnovers.

Martin also started all 16 games and was named to the All-American Second Team, earned American Midfielder of the Week honors on February 17, and received American Weekly Honorable Mention on March 10. She ranked third on the team in goals with 21, tied for fourth in assists with seven, and tied for second in total points with 28. Martin ranked second on the team and fourth in the American with 34 ground balls, while leading the Owls in caused turnovers (20) and draw controls (69), ranking tied fifth and third in the conference, respectively. She posted 10 multi-point games, including a five-game stretch to close the season beginning at Vanderbilt on April 5. Her standout performances included a career-high four goals at Queens on March 7 and a hat trick against Pitt on March 25, where she also set career highs in caused turnovers (3) and ground balls (6).

Returning for her fifth season, Wright finished third on the team in both goals (21) and points (28). She earned American Weekly Honorable Mention honors on February 17 and April 21. Wright played in eight games, starting all eight, before missing half of the season due to injury. Despite missing eight contests, she led the team in goals, averaging 2.75 per game. She opened the season with 11 goals in the first two games, scoring four against Delaware on February 7 and a career-high seven against Rider on February 13. Over those eight games, she recorded six multi-goal performances, including four hat tricks.

The Owls open the 2026 season at home against Delaware on February 6.
