LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Temple University women's tennis team split matches against Fordham and Bucknell over the weekend, falling to Fordham 4-3 and then claiming its second win of the season, downing Bucknell 7-0.
How it Happened
- Against Fordham, the Rams edged out the doubles point by winning two of the three matches, taking an early 1–0 lead.
- Temple battled throughout singles play, picking up three wins across the lineup, but the Rams secured the deciding fourth point to escape with a 4–3 victory.
- Transitioning to Sunday versus Bucknell, the Owls jumped out to an early lead by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point.
- The Owls carried that momentum into singles play, winning across the lineup to clinch and complete a 7–0 road victory.
