Gowman and Martin Received Weekly American Honors

PHILADELPHIA – Sarah Gowman and Sabrina Martin earned weekly honors from The American Conference following Temple's wins over No. 17 Penn and Delaware State. Gowman was named Attacker of the Week, while Martin was selected Midfielder of the Week.

Against Penn, Junior Sarah Gowman led the Owls with a career-high five goals, recording a first-half hat trick. She also led the team with a career-high five ground balls and equaled a career high two caused turnovers. 

Senior Sabrina Martin surpassed 100 career draw controls during the week and totaled eight draw controls across the two contests. She tied her career high with four ground balls against Penn and added four goals on the week, including two free-position conversions.
