PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's lacrosse is set for another split week, traveling to Towson on Wednesday at 4 p.m. before returning home to host Rutgers on Saturday at noon for Alumni Day. The Owls enter the week on a seven-game winning streak, opening the season 7–0 for the first time since 1988.

Temple is coming off wins over No. 17 Penn and Delaware State, tallying 33 goals across the two contests. The Owls are averaging 13 goals per game this season.

Riley Horoshko recorded 12 saves while facing 31 shots against Penn. She currently ranks third nationally in total saves and first in save percentage (.626), leading the conference in both categories.

Thirteen different Owls scored in the second-half shutout win over Delaware State. Kali Saito paced Temple with her second career hat trick, netting three goals against the Hornets.

Junior Sarah Gowman scored six goals across the two wins, highlighted by a career-high five goals, a first-half hat trick, and five ground balls against 17 Penn. Senior Sabrina Martin added four goals and two assists over the two contests, along with eight draw controls.

Towson enters the matchup on a four-game losing streak, with losses to No. 18/15 Colorado and No. 17/22 Denver. Hannah Lewis leads the Tigers with 10 goals, while goalkeeper Jenna Cardaño leads the team with 14 ground balls.

Wednesday's game marks the third all-time meeting between Temple and Towson. The Tigers lead the series 2–1, though Temple won the most recent matchup in 2021.
