Owls Host Drexel in Regular Season Finale

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's lacrosse is set to host Drexel in its final home game of the season Tuesday afternoon at Howarth Field. The Owls will look to secure a berth in the American Conference Tournament, pending the outcomes of Vanderbilt vs. USF and Charlotte vs. ECU. 

OWLS IN THE NEST 
Temple enters the matchup on a four-game winning streak, most recently earning a dominant 16–3 victory over Charlotte in which nine different players found the back of the net.

Against Charlotte,The Owls forced eight turnovers in the first half and finished with 15, led by Madison Moten's career-high six.

Laura Conner recorded a career-high three assists, while Lexi Culp matched her season high with seven points on four assists and three goals. Sabrina Martin added a career-high seven draw controls and led the team with four ground balls.

Temple outshot Charlotte 31–11, placing 24 shots on goal, led by Amelia Wright with seven.

The Owls lead the conference in free-position percentage and rank 10th nationally.

SCOUTING DREXEL
Drexel is coming off a 15–10 win over Monmouth, snapping a three-game losing streak. Kate Quinn leads the Dragons with 28 goals and is one of eight players with double-digit goals this season.

Charlotte Ross has caused 20 turnovers across 14 games. As a team, the Dragons have scored 44 free-position goals and hold a .512 free-position shooting percentage.

The all-time series is tied 3-3 with Drexel winning the match up last season.
