Men's Golf Completes Second Round at American Conference Championships

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Temple University men's golf team concluded the second day of the American Conference Championships Tuesday. The Owls were led by sophomore Mason Tomé, who shot two-over par 74 on his round.

- Tomé led the Owls with four birdies on the day, including three over a seven-hole stretch on the back nine (first nine for Temple) that allowed him to make the turn at one-under par 35.
- The sophomore birdied the par-4 first hole to move to two-under par on the day.
- Two Temple golfers - freshman Nicholas Pisarski and senior Darren Nolan - carded three birdies on the day while seniors Jake Naese and Aidan Emmerich had two each.
- Memphis holds a two-shot lead over #22 Charlotte heading into the third and final day of the tournament.
- The American Conference Championship concludes on Wednesday, April 29, with 18 holes at the Ritz-Carlton Members Club.Â
