REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. - The No. 19 Temple University men's crew team earned its third victory over a nationally-ranked opponent this spring, as the Owls defeated No. 24 UC San Diego at the California Classic.
Temple's varsity eight crossed the finish line over five seconds in front of the Tritons on the first day of competition. Later on Saturday and into Sunday, the Owls squared off against No. 2 California and No. 15 Wisconsin and ultimately came up short.
The Owls return to action on April 11-12 at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River.Â
