Women's Tennis Closes Regular Season with Matches Against FDU and Drexel

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University women's tennis team is set to play in its final two matches of the season against FDU and Drexel from the Temple Tennis Complex. Temple faces FDU in a senior day matchup on Thursday, April 9 and Drexel on the 10th.

Last Time Out

Temple dropped a pair of matches this week, falling 6-1 to Delaware and 4-1 at NJIT.
Irmak Ozturk earned Temple's lone point of the week with a three-set singles win against Delaware, while multiple matches at NJIT went unfinished.
The Owls were originally scheduled to face Drexel on Sunday, with the match now rescheduled to Friday, April 10.

Scouting Fairleigh Dickinson

FDU holds a 9-10 record heading into Thursday, last downing New Haven 4-0.
The two sides faced off last season with the Owls gaining the upper hand with a 4-0 win.
Head Coach Alex Cole has led the Knights since 2024. Cole acts as head coach for both the men's and women's programs.

Scouting Drexel

The Dragons carry a 7-8 record heading into this week, last falling to Rhode Island by a score of 5-2.
Last season, the Dragons finished the year with a 7-9 record, including falling 5-2 to the Owls.
Head Coach Eric Biscoveanu is in his fourth season leading the Dragons, earning a combined record of 37-34
