PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's basketball head coach Diane Richardson announced the signing of transfer Timya Grace on Friday.

Grace is originally from Greenville, S.C., and spent two seasons at Arizona State, where she appeared in eight games during the 2025–26 season. The sophomore recorded a season-high three points against Eastern Washington and pulled down a season-high three rebounds in the win against the Eagles. She also logged a season-high three minutes against Iowa State.

Prior to Arizona State, she was ranked No. 8 in Vype's Top 30 players in Houston and later earned recognition as one of SB Live's Top 26 girls' basketball players in Texas. As a senior, Grace helped lead Katy Taylor to a 28-7 record and a 12-4 mark in district play, securing the program's first playoff berth since the 2018–19 season while finishing ranked No. 3. She was also named to the TGCA All-State Team. In a standout performance, she recorded 34 points and a school-record 24 rebounds in a win over district opponent Seven Lakes. She joined Katy Taylor in January 2023 after transferring from Mauldin (S.C.), where she averaged 8.7 points and 6.1 rebounds across three seasons.
