Temple Alum Nicole Sweeney Begins Professional Career in Serbia

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's soccer alum Nicole Sweeney has signed a professional contract with ŽFK T6 Nika in Serbia.

Sweeney played for the Owls in 2023 after transferring from Santa Clara. She appeared in 10 games, making four starts, and finished the season with two goals and four points. 

Sweeney recorded 11 shots on the season, scoring goals against Lehigh and South Florida, including a game-winning goal against Lehigh. She recorded a season-high three shot attempts in two games, against La Salle and Saint Joseph's.

Sweeney logged 531 minutes during the season, including a season-high 73 minutes played against Loyola Maryland.
