Sheppard Named American Conference Honorable Mention

PHILADELPHIA – The American Conference announced Monday morning that Temple quarterback Ajani Sheppard was named as an honorable mention in this week's weekly awards.
Sheppard had a career day on Saturday against the Toledo Rockets. The signal caller finished the day going 12-22 for 164 yards and three passing scores while also rushing for 66 yards and one touchdown. Sheppard ended the game with career-highs in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes, carries, and rushing yards. His longest pass of 69 yards and longest rush of 22 yards also marked new career-highs.
