Kerkhof, Maciejewski Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After helping the Temple University field hockey team to a 2-0 week, junior Rozlyn Maciejewski and sophomore Lonneke Kerkhof were named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Tuesday.
Maciejewski led the Owls with five points over the two victories, totaling two goals and one assist. The Milanville, Pa., native scored both Temple goals in Friday's 2-1 comeback win over Georgetown, finding the cage twice in the third quarter, including the game-winner. She followed with an assist on Amanda Martin's fourth-quarter goal in Sunday's 4-2 victory over Hofstra.
The performance marked Maciejewski's second career BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection. She previously earned the honor on Oct. 14, 2025, after scoring the first two goals of her collegiate career against Lock Haven.
Kerkhof made an impact on both ends of the field during the unbeaten weekend. The Rotterdam, Netherlands, native recorded an assist and a defensive save in the win over Georgetown before scoring the game-winning goal against Hofstra. Her fourth-quarter strike against the Pride broke a 2-2 tie and gave Temple its first lead of the afternoon as the Owls scored the final three goals in the 4-2 victory.
The duo helped Temple rally from halftime deficits in both contests. The Owls erased a 1-0 deficit against Georgetown with two third-quarter goals before overcoming deficits of 1-0 and 2-1 against Hofstra.
Through eight games, Maciejewski has four goals and three assists for 11 points, while Kerkhof has one goal and three assists for five points.
Temple (5-3, 1-0 BIG EAST) returns to conference action Friday, traveling to Collegeville, Pa., to face Villanova (5-3, 0-1 BIG EAST) at noon.
