Temple Women’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's basketball head coach Diane Richardson has announced the official 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Wednesday, featuring 13 games against a mix of Atlantic 10, America East, Big East, MAC, SEC and Summit League opponents.
Three of the 13 opponents made the NCAA Tournament: Ball State (First Round), George Mason (First Round) and Ole Miss (Sweet Sixteen).
Temple will begin the 2026-27 season on the road in a rematch with 2025-26 opponent George Mason on Nov. 2 before returning home to host Navy on Nov. 7.
The Owls will begin Big 5 play by traveling to North Philadelphia to face La Salle on Nov. 11 before setting their sights on Washington, D.C., in another rematch with 2025-26 opponent George Washington on Nov. 17.
Temple returns to the Liacouras Center on Nov. 22 to face Georgetown, followed by a home matchup against Ball State on Nov. 24. The Owls will close out November with another Big 5 matchup against Villanova on Dec. 1.
The Big 5 Championship Game is set for Dec. 6 and will be held at The Palestra. The Owls will continue the non-conference slate with a home contest against Binghamton on Dec. 8.
Temple will travel to the Big Apple to face St. John's on Dec. 13 before facing Cheyney on Dec. 17. The Owls will close out the non-conference slate when they hit the road to West Palm Beach, Fla., for the West Palm Beach Classic, facing Ole Miss on Dec. 20 before wrapping up tournament play against North Dakota State on Dec. 21.
