NEW YORK – Following a three-goal weekend, the BIG EAST announced Tuesday that Temple University field hockey sophomore Lucia Magro was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Magro accounted for three of Temple's five goals across a pair of road contests at Lafayette and Wagner. The Buenos Aires, Argentina, native found the back of the cage with 20 seconds remaining in Friday's 4-3 setback at Lafayette before scoring both goals in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Wagner.

Against the Seahawks, Magro opened the scoring less than a minute into the second quarter before converting a penalty stroke for the eventual game-winning goal. The two-goal performance marked the first multi-goal game of her collegiate career.

Magro has now scored in three consecutive contests, totaling four goals during the stretch. Through four games, the reigning BIG EAST Freshman of the Year ranks 17th nationally and second in the BIG EAST with 1.00 goals per game. She also ranks 30th nationally and fourth in the conference with 2.00 points per game.

The honor marks the sixth BIG EAST weekly recognition of Magro's career. As a freshman in 2025, she was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week three times and earned two selections to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Temple (2-2) returns to Howarth Field for its home-opening weekend, hosting No. 19 Monmouth on Friday at 4 p.m. before welcoming Rider on Sunday at 11 a.m.
