Wore jersey #8 this fall after wearing #14 for three seasons … left-handed quarterback … enrolled at Temple in January 2008 ... member of the Local 215 who joined the team in the spring of 2008 ... has since earned a scholarship.
Honors: MAC Offensive Player of the Week, Rivals.com National MAC Player of the Week, ESPN?Helmet Stickers, and OwlSports.com Athlete of the Week (Nov. 8, 2010) … named the coaches’ offensive player of the week following the Akron game (Oct. 30, 2010).
2011: Played in all 13 games with three starts … served as the holder for kicks during last nine games … completed 32-of-63 passes for 442 yards and three touchdowns on the season … saw action in the first quarter in the win over Kent State … went 2-of-4 for 19 yards … made sixth consecutive start against Penn State … finished 9-of-22 for 95 yards … went 7-of-17 for 93 yards and touchdown in the win at Akron … received the starting nod in the win over Villanova … went 14-of-20 for 235 yards and two touchdowns.
2010: Team captain for the Miami game … played in last six games with five starts … finished the season 93-of-156 for 1,290 yards and 10 touchdowns … went 11-of-27 for 108 yards at Miami … went 28-of-48 for 311 yards and two touchdowns against Ohio, playing in a school record 79 offensive plays … in the win at Kent State, put the Owls on the scoreboard with the first rushing TD of his career with a nine-yard run … finished 21-of-29 for 368 yards and two touchdowns … the 368 yards passing were the most ever by a TU first-year starter at QB, eclipsing Adam DiMichele’s record of 322 yards (in 2006) … earned several player of the week honors following his performance … recorded his first 200-yard passing game in the shutout of Akron … went 15-of-22 for 209 yards and a touchdown against the Zips en route to the coaches’ offensive player of the game honors … received his first start at QB in the win at Buffalo … went 9-of-15 for 131 yards and three touchdowns … also rushed for seven yards against the Bulls… saw his first action at QB in the win over Bowling Green … finished 9-of-14 for 163 yards and two touchdowns, including an 80-yard TD reception to Rod Streater, the team’s longest pass play in 12 years … lettered.
