Played in all 12 games with nine starts ... received the starting nod against Navy, Buffalo, BGSU, and Army ... finished fourth in team tackling with 66 tackles ... led the defense in the win over Miami (Ohio) with 12 tackles ... amassed a career-high 18 tackles, including six solo and 1.5 TFL, at Ohio ... had an interception in the win over Kent State, the second of his career ... also made three solo tackles, two for a loss, against the Golden Flashes ... lettered.

2006:
Played in 10 games as a true freshman ... made 19 tackles (10 solo), 1.5 TFLs, and one INT ... had six total tackles and contributed on a TFL versus Louisville ... made four stops (three solo) and a TFL at Northern Illinois ... grabbed an INT and returned it 16 yards against BGSU ... also a key contributor on special teams ... one of 22 true freshmen to see action ... lettered.

High School:
A 2006 graduate of Stamford (Conn.) HS ... CSHCA Class LL First Team All-State choice at LB after making 75 tackles, three INTs and one fumble recovery in 2005 ... Hartford Courant Honorable Mention All-State and first-team All-FCIAC selection under head coach Kevin Jones ... rarely came off the field as a senior, catching 11 passes for 244 yards (22.14 avg.) and five TDs, while rushing six times for 82 yards and a score ... averaged 22.5 yards on kickoff returns and 12.5 yards on punt returns ... was also the Black Knights[apos] punter and kicker, averaging 35.5 yards per punt, pinning five inside the 20 and was 10-11 on PATs ... three-year varsity football letterwinner, making 50 tackles (37 solo) and two INTs as a junior ... also a varsity basketball player ... school produced former Philadelphia Eagle and current city sportscaster Garry Cobb.
