2007:
Started all 12 games at nose tackle ... one of just seven Owls to start every game ... had five tackles in season opener with Navy ... had a career-high two sacks at Connecticut en route to being named the coaches[apos] defensive player of the game ... made six tackles at BGSU ... named the coaches[apos] defensive player of the game again at Ohio following a 12-yard sack ... named the coaches[apos] defensive player of the game for the third time against No. 25 Penn State ... had three tackles, including a sack for a loss of eight yards ... recovered the first fumble of his career and had four tackles against the Nittany Lions ... lettered.

2006:
Played in all 12 games with nine starts as a true freshman ... started at DT versus Minnesota, WMU, Vanderbilt, Kent State, Clemson, NIU, BGSU, CMU and Penn State ... one of 22 true freshmen to see action and one of 10 to start ... made 18 tackles (five solo), two TFLs, one FF, one QBH and two PBUs ... had a season-high four tackles (one solo) and both a PBU and FF versus BGSU ... lettered.

A 2006 graduate of Rahway (N.J.) HS ... Newark Star-Ledger first-team All-State, first-team All-Group II, and first-team All-Union selection at LB ... third-team All-State choice by the Associated Press ... Rivals postseason New Jersey Top 50 selection ... two-year team captain and four-year letterman, playing FB and LB under head coach and former Temple DB Gary Mobley (1987-90) ... The Ledger[apos]s 2005 Union County Player of the Year ... made 122 tackles, five sacks, two INTs and forced six fumbles on defense in 2005, while also rushing for 674 yards and 13 TDs on 87 carries ... selected for the North-South All-Star Game ... made 217 career tackles, seven forced fumbles, four INTs and 10 sacks on defense, while rushing for 1,255 career yards and 10 TDs on offense with 23 receptions for 278 yards and a score ... four-time All-County and All-Conference performer, earning preseason All-Area accolades twice ... also captain of the school[apos]s wrestling and track and field teams ...
