Caden Murphy joined the Temple Football staff as an defensive graduate assistant in January 2020.
He comes from Northern Illinois University where he spent four years working as a student assistant, the first three on Rod Carey’s staff. At NIU, Murphy specifically worked with quarterbacks coach Craig Harmon while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology.
A native of Chelsea, Mich., Murphy played linebacker for four years at Chelsea High before starting as a student assistant at NIU. Murphy will pursue a master’s degree in higher education at Temple.
