Derek Radaker was named one of Temple’s Assistant Equipment Managers in August of 2016.
 
In his role with the Owls, Radaker is responsible for issuing and maintaining gear and equipment for all of Temple's Olympic sports. He also assists with the setup of the locker room on game days for volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer and field hockey.

Radaker is no stranger to Temple, having worked with the Owls’ football team since 2009. As a GA in 2015-16, he supervised ten student managers during practice and game days, managing day-to-day operations of equipment room, including inventory and maintenance of apparel, uniforms, and equipment. He also organized transportation of equipment for team travel to games, managed game day equipment operations, pregame drills, and in-game equipment maintenance.
 
Before beginning his GA position, Radaker was a student manager for Temple football.
 
Radaker, who is CPR certified, is a graduate of Temple’s School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management. He completed his B.S. in Sport Management in May of 2015.
