Katie Guynn joined the staff of the Nancy & Donald Resnick Academic Support Center for Student-Athletes as an academic advisor for football in July of 2012. Guynn works specifically with the defensive players in Temple's football program.
Guynn came to Temple from the University of Missouri, where she worked in the Total Person Program (TPP) for two years. Most recently, she served as the interim Academic Coordinator for the men’s and women’s swimming and diving, volleyball, and wrestling teams. Prior to the 2011-12 academic year, Guynn worked as a graduate assistant in the TPP for the Mizzou football and volleyball teams.
She completed a year-long internship in Public and Media Relations at the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis.
A 2009 graduate of Wellesley College with a bachelor’s degree in German Studies, Guynn was a four-year member of both the soccer and swimming teams and served as captain of both during her senior seasons. Guynn also worked in Sports Information during her time at Wellesley. A native of Salem, Va., Guynn earned her Masters of Education in 2012 from Missouri.
