2019 (Junior): Joined Temple as a walk-on in the summer ... moved from running back to tight end this summer ... did not see game action ... Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week (#19 SMU) ... redshirted.
Junior College: Played running back at Nassau Community College from 2017-18 for coach Jamel Ramsey … was fifth in the nation in points and ninth in rushing touchdowns while leading NCC to a 10-3 record in 2018 ... averaged 120 yards and two touchdowns rushing in his last three games.
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at running back for Holy Cross in Flushing, N.Y. for head coach Tim Smith … participated in the Catholic High School Football League and Queens’ All-Star games … also lettered in basketball and track.
Personal: Born Jeremiah I. Nelson in Jamaica, N.Y. … parents are Maureen Brown and Vincent Nelson … has a brother, Vincent Nelson Jr., and three sisters, Shaniqua Nelson, Tasheka Myers and Iesha Myers.
