High School: A four-year starter at defensive tackle for head coach Reggie Lucas at Wake Forest High … posted 84 tackles, 34 for loss and 18 sacks, as a senior … recorded five tackles, including two for loss and one sack in a 29-0 win over Greensboro Page to claim the NCHSAA 4AA football state championship … selected to play in the Shrine Bowl but could not play because his team was in the state finals … named first-team All-State by The AP … rated a top 30 defensive tackle in the nation - #15 by 24/7 Sports, #17 by Rivals, and #29 by ESPN.
