Peter Lappas

Peter Lappas is in his first year as a graduate assistant manager on the Temple University staff.
No stranger to Philadelphia Big 5 and Atlantic 10 basketball, his father, Steve, who currently covers the Atlantic 10 Conference as an analyst with CBS Sports Network, served as the head coach at Villanova from 1992-2001 and then at UMass from 2001-05.
A 2012 graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, Lappas has coached at some prestigious summer camps, including Jim Calhoun’s camp at the University of Connecticut, Gary Williams’s camp at University of Maryland, Mike Rice’s camp at Rutgers University, and Jay Wright’s camp at Villanova University.
An intern with the Philadelphia 76ers during the summer of 2011, he also has worked as an administrative assistant at multiple Hoop Group camps as well as an assistant to camp directors at the Reebok All-America Camp.
A native of Broomall, Pa., Lappas is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sport and Recreation Management at Temple University.
