After spending two years as a graduate manager for Temple basketball, Mike Clark was hired as assistant director of operations in October, 2018. Clark originally came to Temple from St. Louis, Mo., where he spent two years as a substitute teacher at the middle school and high school levels.
Clark earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education, social studies from Indiana University in 2014. He went on to receive his master's degree in sports business from Temple in 2018.
While in St. Louis, Clark stayed heavily involved in basketball, serving as the freshman coach and varsity assistant coach at Ritenour High School. He was also a camp counselor for the Alex Bazzell Pure Sweat Academy and for the University of Illinois.
Clark spent time as an intern for Indiana Athletics in his final year at the university, and also spent a year and a half as a manager for Indiana's women's basketball team.
