2022: Saw action in 13 games and made 10 starts…Recorded three goals, including a career-high two scores in 3-1 win over St. Peter's (9/13) on three shots on goal, was named to AAC Weeky Honor Roll and Philly Soccer Six Rookie of the Week for his efforts…Found the back of the net in 2-0 victory over Stony Brook (10/18)…Added two assists during the fall with one against South Florida (9/24) and his second versus No. 22/9 Tulsa (10/22)..Named Philly Soccer Six Rookie of the Week a second time on 9/27
Prior to Temple: Graduated from Council Rock North…Played club with the Philadelphia Union and also spent time with the Pennsylvania Development Academy…Was part of one of the better youth club teams in Union history, advancing to the 2021 national MLSNext finals…Koza was also a member of his school’s football program, being named first team all-district as a punter.
Personal: Comes from a family of athletes…Aunt, Stephanie Downer, played soccer for the University of Delaware…Brother Ethan ran track and cross country for the Owls….He plans to major in Business Marketing at Temple.
