Ashley Moore, a member of the New England Riptide of the NPFL from 2004-05 and a two-time All-SEC outfielder at Auburn University from 1999-02, will assist in recruiting, coach the outfielders and coordinate Temple softball clinics and camps.

Moore completed her collegiate playing career at Auburn setting 15 school records. She left the program in 2002 as the all-time leader in hits (261), runs (171), doubles (58), hit-by-pitches (26), games started (244) and total bases (445). She also ranks second all-time in RBI (128), homeruns (40), on-base percentage (.422), walks (85) and games played (247). After batting .381 with 22 doubles, 11 home runs, and 40 RBI in 2001, Moore became the program's first second team all-American honoree. In addition, Moore garnered first team all-SEC honors in 2001 and 2002.

Moore played two seasons with the Riptide while registering 48 at-bats. She posted a .229 batting average, .403 on-base percentage, and a .375 slugging percentage. Moore hit four doubles and one homerun while posting seven RBI.

While overseeing the team's outfielders, Moore helped lead the No. 25 Tigers to a 36-22 overall mark in 2006 before falling to Arizona in the NCAA Regional Championship. Prior to an opening round loss to LSU in the SEC tournament, Auburn finished with a 15-15 conference record and a third place finish in the Western Division. Following a 50-18 regular season finish in 2005, the Tigers appeared in the program's first NCAA Regional game against Florida State. Under Moore's guidance, right fielder Sara Ghezzi earned all-SEC first team honors in 2005 and received second team recognition in 2006.

Prior to returning to the Auburn dugout as an assistant coach from 2004-06, Moore spent the 2003 - 04 season at the University of South Carolina as a volunteer assistant under head coach Joyce Compton. From 2002-03, she served as a student assistant at Auburn under head coach Tina Deese.

Moore, a Birmingham, Alabama native, graduated from Auburn in 2003 with a degree in physical education. She came to Auburn via Vestavia Hills High School where she earned 15 varsity letters in volleyball, softball, basketball, swimming and track.
