Brianne Brown

Brianne Brown joined the Temple softball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2013.
Prior to joining the Owls, Brown was the head coach of the La Salle softball program for four seasons before resigning in May of 2012 to pursue other opportunities. In 2008, she served as a graduate assistant coach under Joe DiPietro, who was the Explorers head coach at the time, where her primary responsibility was working with the infielders and outfielders.
Brown graduated from nearby Drexel University with a degree in corporate communication in 2007 where she was a standout third baseman for the Dragons. The two-year captain earned All-CAA honors as a senior and led all CAA third basemen in home runs, RBI and slugging percentage in her final season. She holds the current career mark for walks with 69 and graduated as the career home run leader with 10. Brown also ranks in Drexel's top 20 for career hits with 133. She earned MVP honors both her freshman and senior seasons.
