Dan DeMarco returns to Temple as a volunteer for the Owls. A former pitching coach for the Cherry and White, DeMarco will revisit his days with Temple and assist with the team's pitching.
DeMarco spent 11 years as the pitching coach at Kutztown University and has 20 years of experience as a private instructor. He is also an advisor to the TNT 18U Gold pitching staff.
As a pitching coach, DeMarco has taught 22 high school league champions, 41 high school post season all-league award winners, 10 high school district champions, two high school state champions, four ASA state champions, five ASA All-Americans at the "A" and women's majors levels, two pony national champions, and two pony national runner-ups. DeMarco also coached nine collegiate post season honors at the Division I level and 20 collegiate post season honors at the Division II level.
His player's collegiate post season awards include all-conference, all-region, and all-american honorees. DeMarco also led two athletes to Louisville slugger awards and one to be a Honda Award recipient.
DeMarco also runs the Rock n' Fire softball pitching school, which specializes in offering advanced pitching instruction for the serious softball pitcher.
