A 2008 graduate of Seton Hall University, Jenna Best is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach at Temple.

The Shawnee, N.J. native was a four-year member of the Seton Hall University softball team, and served as team captain as a senior. Throughout her career, Best etched her name on several SHU career record lists, including graduating with the fifth-best RBI total at 89.

In her final season with the Pirates, Best was second on the squad with a .302 batting average and earned Third Team All-Big East honors for the second time in her career. The first came during her sophomore campaign, the most successful offensive season of her career, where she batted .340 with nine homeruns and 41 runs batted in. Her season homerun and RBI?totals ranked sixth and fifth on the Seton Hall single-season charts, respectively.

In addition to her all conference selections, the outfielder also nabbed Seton Hall Senior Athlete of the Year and Sophomore Co-Athlete of the Year honors throughout her career, as well as earning First Team All-Northeast Region accolades as a sophomore. Best was a true student-athlete, picking up Big East Academic All-Star status as a junior.

A graduate of Shawnee High School, she was a three-year member of the softball squad, earning all conference honors each year. Following her senior season, she participated in the South Jersey All-Star Game of 2004.

A sport management major at Seton Hall, Best is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports and recreation management.
