Casey Cooper joined the Temple Athletics staff as an assistant athletic trainer in October, 2018, and works primarily with the men's and women's cross country and women's track programs. Cooper came to Temple from Delaware State University where he served as an associate athletic trainer for seven years.
In his role with DSU, Cooper worked with the women's soccer, men's basketball, bowling, track & field and cross country teams while also being the drug test representative. Additionally, he had experience in dealing with volleyball, football, softball and baseball teams at DSU.
Cooper graduated with a bachelor's of science in exercise science degree from Salisbury University in 2006 and a master's of science degree in athletic training from Shenandoah University in 2010. He is a native of Rehoboth Beach, Del.
