Dr. Cory J. Keller, DO

Dr. Cory Keller is an Osteopathic Physician, board certified in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Temple Health and team physician caring for Temple Athletics. He is also team physician for several area high schools including Archbishop Wood, LaSalle College, and Pope John Paul.
Dr. Keller was formerly a student-athlete at Arcadia University, where he was an all-conference baseball player.  He was recently inducted into the Arcadia University Athletic Hall of Fame. He earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed a residency in Family Medicine at Reading Hospital. Following residency, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he helped care for the Pitt football team along with Dr Eric Kropf, who is also a current Temple Athletics team physician.
In his sports medicine practice with Temple Health, Dr. Keller treats athletes of all ages. His areas of interest include overhead throwing injuries, running and overuse injuries, concussion management, and sports sprains and strains. Dr. Keller is also trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound. He uses this for diagnostic evaluations as well as therapeutic interventions such as platelet-rich-plasma injections for chronic tendon injuries.
Dr. Keller is an active member of several national and regional societies and organizations, including the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Family Practice and the Delaware Valley Society for Sports Medicine. He is also actively involved within the Temple University School of Medicine, teaching residents and medical students as well as teaching graduate and undergraduate students in the Temple University Athletic Training program.
