Former Temple women's basketball standout Shenita Landry (2005-09) was named Director of Player Personnel for the program on May 30, 2023. Landry appeared in all 130 games during her four years on North Broad, her teams made the NCAA tournament in each of her four seasons.
 
During Landry’s first year on the staff at Temple, she helped lead the team to the 2023-24 American Athletic Championship when the Owls finished the regular season with a 13-5 conference record.

The former forward came to Temple after spending 2022-23 as the Director of Basketball Operations for the America East Champion Vermont Catamounts. Prior to her time with Vermont, she played 13 seasons professionally.

In her professional career, she played 13 seasons across seven different countries: Australia, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, and Lithuania. She also worked to prepare pre- and post-game scouting reports, highlight films, and film breakdowns. During her time in France, she won the French LF2 Championship.

Playing three years under then-head coach Dawn Staley, Landry was part of a squad that won the Atlantic-10 tournaments in 2005 and 2006. She was named Second Team All A-10 in and to the A-10 All Defensive Team during her senior season in 2008-09. Milwaukee, Wisc. Native was also named A-10 Most Improved Player and Big 5 Most Improved Player and First Team All-Big 5. Landry finished eighth in the program in all-time career blocks (103) and 12th all-time in career rebounds (747).
