Jovahn Fair joined the Nancy and Donald Resnick Academic Support Center for Student-Athletes as an Academic Advisor in 2021. This marked a return to Temple for Fair who was a member of the Owls’ football team from 2015-19.
Fair was a four-year starter for Temple and hold the distinction as the only player in school history to start four bowl games. He became the starting left guard in 2016, when the Owls won the American Athletic Conference Championship and played in 46 games earning all-conference honors as a junior and senior.
The Akron, Ohio, native was also outstanding in the classroom earning multiple American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honors and was the 2018 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year by Temple Athletics.
Fair earned a degree in human development and community engagement in the spring of 2019 and began working on his master’s degree.
