Before Temple
Hedgepeth comes to Temple after spending two seasons at Purdue University. As a sophomore in 2025-26, she competed in both the 1V8+ and 2V8+, earning victories at MACRA in the 1V8+ and Percy Priest in the 2V8+. Hedgepeth helped the 1V8+ finish second at ACRA, marking Purdue's top performance in the Women's Varsity 8+ since 2024.
As a freshman, Hedgepeth walked on to the program and competed primarily in the 1N8+. She helped the boat earn victories at Percy Priest, SIRA and MACRA before finishing fifth at ACRA. She also competed in the 2V8+, earning a runner-up finish at Percy Priest.
Background
Hedgepeth attended Jemicy Upper School in Owings Mills, Md., where she was a multi-sport athlete. She was named Female Athlete of the Year and earned the Three-Sport Athlete Award while lettering in volleyball, soccer, lacrosse and basketball. Hedgepeth also founded the school's volleyball team and served as a captain in both volleyball and soccer.
