2011-12: Among 429 female athletes to be nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award...Finished the 2012 season as a second team national All-American with a record of 50-14...Named the Philly-SIDA/Philadelphia Inquirer Academic Women's All-Area Performer of the Year and the Temple University Female Student-Athlere of the Year...Placed sixth in her fourth straight trip to the NCAA Championships, where she defeated three of the four finalists, including 2008 Olympic Individual Bronze Medalist Rebecca Ward from Duke...On the year, she went undefeated in 13 meets and recorded at least 50 wins for the second straight season...Earning her way to nationals, she placed ninth at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals after earning a gold medal and leading the Owls’ sabre squad to the weapon division title at the NIWFA Championship...Got off to a strong start, as she took the bronze medal in the season-opening meet at the Temple Open...A week later, she stayed consistent and was a finalist at the Penn State Open, earning fourth place overall...For her career, Thompson leaves a legacy of being the winningest sabre fencer at Temple with her four-year record of 175-48. 

2010-11: Qualified for NCAA Nationals, where she placed 15th in the nation...Posted the most wions and the highest winning percentage of anyone on the Temple roster...Opened the season with a 10th place finish at the Garret Open...Placed 16th at the Junior World Cup in Germany...Won a gold medal winning in sabre at the North American Cup C...Went undefeated in 16 matches...Was a semi-finalist at the Penn State Open, placing 10th...Took first place and won a gold medal at NIWFA Championships...Placed seventh at NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals...Named “PNC-Temple Female Student-Athlete of the Year”, whcih is top award given by the Temple Athletic Department each year.

2009-10: Led the team finishing third in sabre at the Temple Open…Placed 10th in sabre out of 88 fencers at the US Fencing North American Cup (NAC) Jr. Tournament…Led the team with an 18th place finish in sabre at the Penn State Open…Took 13th place out of 62 entries in sabre at the US Fencing North American Cup...Posted a perfect 11-0 record in sabre at the Philadelphia Invitational… Placed fifth in the Division I (all ages) Women's Sabre competition at the North American Cup … Also took 20th place in Under 20 Women's Sabre at the North American Cup… Competed to a 3-0 finish at Penn State Multi-Meet…Posted a record of 6-5 in sabre at the Northwestern Duals…Finished 53rd in sabre out of 111 competitors at the US Fencing Junior Olympics… Went 4-4 on the day in sabre at the Temple Invitational…Led the team in sabre placing seventh in the field of 32 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional…Finished 14th in sabre at the NCAA Championship…Named to Temple Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2008-09: Opened collegiate career with 18th place finish at Penn State Open...In only her second collegiate meet, Thompson tied for third at the Temple Open...Finished 45th at the NAC Jr. Tournament...Tallied winning records at the Philadelphia Invitational (8-3), Princeton (8-7), Northwestern Duals (11-3), and Steven's Tech (5-0)...Won individual title at the NIWFA Championship to lead both the sabre squad and the entire team to first place finishes...As a result of her performance at the NIWFA Championship, Thompson was named first-team All-NIWFA...Led the sabre squad with a sixth place finish at the NCAA Regional Championship...Selected to compete in the NCAA Championships, Thompson finished with a 16th place finish...Participated in the US Fencing Association National Championships and placed 23rd in the Senior Women's event for sabre, and took 31st in the Under-19 event.

HIGH SCHOOL: Squad leader Team MVP of the sabre squad as a senior....helped squad finish second in districts, second in the state and win the Passaic League Championship....named The Star-Ledger Fencer of the Week....first-team all-county and third-team all-state...finished senior season with 47-8 record....named second team all-county and finished 15th in the state sabre as a junior.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Biology....high school teammate of freshman Danielle Jones.
