Lauren Wray joined the Temple coaching staff in 2009-10 after spending one year as the head coach at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pa. Prior to that position, Wray was the assistant coach at Lafayette from 2007-08.
After graduating from Duke in 2004, Wray was the head coach at Charlotte Catholic High School in Charlotte, N.C. She coached both the varsity and junior varsity lacrosse teams for the 2005-2006 season, the school's inaugural year of competition. Wray also co-founded the Queen City Club travel team in Charlotte and helped manage and coach the team in 2005-2006.
Wray was a four-year letterwinner at Duke University from 1999-2003. She played attack and amassed 140 goals and 53 assists throughout her career. The three-time All-American was a team co-captain her senior year. She acted as an undergraduate assistant with the team for the 2003-2004 season while finishing up her degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics.
The former Blue Devil brings international experience to College Hill after coaching lacrosse clinics in Alberta, Canada during the spring and summer of 2007. Wray also spent three years as a member of the U.S. Developmental Squad while in college, training under U.S. coaches Sue Murphy and Sue Stahl.
Wray and her husband, Taylor, have a newborn son, Jackson.
