Liz Allan returns to Temple, this time on the coaching side of the ball. Allan led the Owls from the field a year ago as a midfielder, dishing two assists and leading the team to a 4-11-4 overall record. She played her previous three seasons of eligibility at Iona, where she notched seven goals and ten assists. She was named second team All-MAAC in 2007, and earned MAAC All-Rookie honors during her inaugural season. In her first year as the graduate assistant coach, Allan is pursuing a Master's in city planning from Temple.
2008 (at Temple): Started all 19 games for the Owls...Dished two assists and tallied 11 shots.
2007 (at Iona): Second team All-MAAC...Started 14 of 15 games...Scored four goals...Dished two assists, which was second-best of the team...Finished with a point total of 10 (second on the team)...Took 25 total shots
2006 (at Iona): Appeared in 17 games, making 16 starts... Scored one goal on a penalty kick against Quinnipiac on Sep. 15... Added five assists, bringing her to seven points on the season... Took 13 shots.
2005 (at Iona): Named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team...Appeared in 18 games, making 11 starts...Helped anchor the Gaels defensive attack...Scored her first collegiate goal against St. Peter's on 10/02/05...Recorded 24 shots and ten shots on goal to go along with one assist
HIGH SCHOOL: Played on several top club teams in England... Played two seasons with the Fulham DC Ladies Reserves... Prior to that played for the Surrey Girls under 14 and under 16 team, captaining the under 16 squad... Also spent time with the Surrey Ladies FC... Began playing club soccer at 11 with the Fulham FC Girls Center of Excellence.
