Kristyna Pesatova is in her second year as an assistant women's tennis coach at Temple University. A standout collegiate player at Hampton University, Pesatova brings a strong resume to the Owl program. The number one singles player at Hampton all four years at the school, the Czech Republic native earned three first team all-conference citations. A 2005 Hampton graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management, Pesatova garnered accolades in the classroom as well, earning academic all-conference honors her final three years. Besides her stellar intercollegiate playing career, Pesatova has played well on the international circuit. She represented the countries of Switzerland, Germany and Slovakia from 1996 through 2001, playing number one singles at various levels of international competition. Pesatova also won the Czech Junior Tennis Championship. Her coaching experience started in her homeland where she earned a third level coaches' license from the Czech Tennis Association in 2000. She assisted Hampton coach Dr. Robert Screen in organizing practices during her career as well as coaching players at various summer camps and academies over the past five years. Pesatova is currently pursuing her graduate degree in sports administration at Temple.
