2021: 2021-22 AAC All-Academic Team. . . Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholarship Award First Team. . . Played in five matches . . .Had a season-high five digs versus Cincinnati on Nov. 26. . . Dean's List in Fall of 2021 and Spring of 2022.
2020-21: 2020 AAC All-Academic Team. . .Played in nine matches, started four. . . Recorded two matches with 10 or more digs, including a 10 versus Coppin St. on Feb. 5 and a season-high 17 versus Delaware on Feb. 26. . .recorded a season-high three kills on three separate occasions.
2019: Appeared in 17 matches and 45 sets for the Owls in 2019… Finished the season with 23 digs and three blocks… also added three kills, six aces, and six assists.
Before Temple: Played club volleyball with Manoa Beach, the number one team in the state of Hawaii... Competed in 15's, 16's, and 17's Open Division for club ball... Won the 2018 PNW Qualifiers in Spokane... Took first place at the 2014 Arizona Volleyball Festival... Graduated with honors with awards of excellence in bible literature and Spanish... Also competed in high jump for high school track.
Personal: Daughter of Fred and Malevine Salanoa... the oldest of seven girls... a Kinesiology health professions major.
