LeiLani J. Leaston currently serves as a Student-Athlete Development Assistant for Temple Athletics, where she leads community engagement initiatives and event programming for student-athletes. She advises the Black Student-Athlete Association and has launched impactful programs such as the Financial Playbook Seminar and The Women in Sports Leadership Summit presented by Sprouts Farmers Market. She also previously interned with Temple's Athletic Development and Football Recruiting departments, gaining a diverse understanding of donor relations, recruiting operations, and game-day logistics.
Leaston has held internships with prominent organizations including NBC Sports Philadelphia, where she contributed to marketing campaigns and social media content for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. She also gained valuable sales experience with the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers as a Retail Sales Representative.
In addition to her professional work, Leaston is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Business and serves on the MSSB Student Advisory Board. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Leaston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication, with a minor in Sports and Recreation Management.
