Men's Soccer Coach

Played soccer from 1925 to 1928 under Jim Neeley; competed in baseball three years under Walter Keating. Named to both soccer and baseball All-American teams in 1929, his senior year. Head soccer coach at Temple for 41 years. Compiled brilliant 245-97-36 record. Produced 36 All-Americans during his coaching career. Coached Temple to national championships in 1951 and 1953. Led Owls into NCAA playoffs three consecutive years (1966-68). Many of his players became pro stars and excellent coaches.
