She played on many Women's Athletic Association (WAA) honor teams at the University, competing in field hockey, basketball, tennis, volleyball, paddle tennis, softball, and swimming. She received the WAA Blazer, which is the highest award presented at that time. She played volleyball and basketball at the Philadelphia Central YWCA and organized and played on her high school alumni basketball team. She also played six-man and mixed doubles volleyball and was a member of a championship YWCA volleyball team. She also played for a Saturday morning field hockey team and made the Philadelphia II sectional team in that sport. She was a member of the Temple University Educational Honor Society. She coached and taught in schools in the City of Philadelphia and its suburbs for 35 years. She hadan outstanding teacher, coaching, administrative and officiating career.
