Bartolacci Paces Owls Golf at Coastal Carolina Invitational

Temple junior Christopher Bartolacci shot a three round 215 and placed
tied for eighth at the Coastal Carolina Invitational on September 27 and
28. For Bartolacci, it was his second top 10 finish of the fall 1999
season after finishing second at the Navy Invitational earlier in the
season.
The Owls as a team completed the Coastal Carolina event in 13th place
out of the 15 team field. It was the first time the Owls did not finish
in the top five after a second place finish at the Navy Invitational and
a third place finish at the Georgetown Invitational.
Next, the Owls will play host to a 12-team field at the 1999 Temple
Invitational to be held at the Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic,
Pa. on October 8 and 9.
The Glenmaura course will also serve as the NCAA 2000 East Regional Golf
Tournament for May 18-20, 2000.
