Pisarski Leads Men's Golf on First Day of American Conference Championships

SARASOTA, Fla. - Freshman Nicholas Pisarski carded a one-under par 71 to lead Temple men's golf on the opening day of the American Conference Men's Golf Championship Monday. The Owls are one shot behind Florida Atlantic in the team standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Pisarski recorded 15 pards on his ultra-consistent round, to go along with two birdies and a lone bogey on his first hole of the day, the par-4 10th.
The Orlando, Fla. native is tied for second place individually with his 15 pars heading into round two on Tuesday.
Senior Aidan Emmerich registered 14 pars on his round, which is tied for fourth among all competitors.
Pisarski stands just inside the top 20 (T-18th) on the leaderboard while Emmerich is tied for 37th overall.
No. 22 Charlotte holds a one shot lead over both Memphis and Rice heading into Tuesday's 18-hole round.
