Men's Soccer Shuts Out La Salle, 1-0

Philadelphia (October 17) - The Temple men's soccer team defeated La Salle, 1-0, today at Temple Stadium. It marked the third win in a row for the Owls. Temple improves to 6-7-1 overall and 4-3 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

The lone Temple goal was scored on a penalty kick by Kevin Kelly in the first half. It was the Kelly's 11th goal of the season and fourth in the past two games.

Senior goalkeeper Phil Pizzano made six saves en route to his second consecutive shut out.

The Owls will next play at St. Bonaventure on Oct. 22.
