Volleyball Defeats LaSalle, 3-1

Philadelphia, Pa. (November 16) -- Junior Alma Kovaci had 27 kills and 13 digs to lead
the Owls (21-5) to a 3-1 victory over LaSalle (15-18) in women's
volleyball action yesterday at LaSalle.
With the 11-15, 15-13, 15-10, 15-6 victory over the Explorers,
Temple has extended a five game winning streak. Over that span the Owls
have won 15 games while only dropping five games. Moreover they have
outscored their opponents during that streak by 229 points.
Also contributing in the win for Temple was Maria Vutskova (12
kills, 16 digs), Enkeleida Shkoza (15 kills, 6 digs), and Marcia Lyssy
(12 kills, 8 digs).
Temple returns to action Friday, November 19, when they travel to
Duquesne and take on the Dukes at 6:00 p.m.
