Temple Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple Volleyball head coach Linda Hampton Keith announced Friday the 2026 schedule.  

The 28-game slate features 12 home contests inside McGonigle Hall, the home of the Owls. To start the regular season, the Owls will host the Temple Invite and will face Manhattan College on Friday, August 28th, Fordham on Saturday, August 29th and Rider on Sunday, August 30th.  

Temple hits the road for a seven game away stretch beginning with the Grand Canyon Invite where they will play University of San Francisco Friday, September 4th, Louisiana-Monroe Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th.   

The Owls will head to the Binghamton Invite where they will face Binghamton Thursday, September 10th, Cornell Friday, September 11th and New Haven Saturday, September 12th. 

Temple will head New Jersey for a match against Princeton on Friday September 12th. And will return to McGonigle Hall to face UMBC Saturday September 19th.  

The Owls will conclude non-conference play against FDU on Wednesday, September 23rd.  

American Conference play will begin in the City of Brotherly Love for the Cherry & White when the UAB Blazers and Charlotte 49ers come to Philly for a weekend series. Temple and UAB will face off on Friday, September 25. The Owls will then take on the 49ers on Sunday, September 27 to close out the weekend. 

Temple will head to the Sunshine State for the first road-conference trip of the season. The weekend will start on Friday, October 2 at Florida Atlantic University. The Owls will then head to Tampa to take on USF on Sunday, October 4.  

The following weekend will be back in Philadelphia when the Owls face FAU for the second weekend in a row on Friday, October 9 in McGonigle Hall. On Sunday, October 11 Temple will take on the North Texas Mean Green. 

The next three contests for Temple will be on the road. The stretch will start with a trip to Memphis on Friday, October 16 before taking on UAB in Alabama on Sunday, October 18. The next Friday, the Owls square off against Charlotte for the second time this season, this time being in North Carolina. Sunday, October 25 will be a home contest against the UTSA Roadrunners. 

On Friday, October 30, the Owls will face the East Carolina Pirates in Greenville, N.C. That game will be followed by a home game against Tulane on Sunday, November 1. The final home weekend of the 2026 season will start on Friday, November 6 when ECU pays a visit to Philadelphia. The final home game of the season will be against the reigning American Conference Champion, Rice Owls, on Sunday, November 8. 

The final weekend of the season will begin at Wichita State on Friday, November 13 and then conclude on Sunday, November 15 at Tulsa. 

Game times and themes will be announced at a later date.
