Women's Gymnastics Lands Fourth Place Finish in George Washington Invitational

Philadelphia, Pa. (Jan. 23) -- Temple Women's Gymnastics finished fourth place with a 183.675 in the George Washington Invitational on

Sunday. George Washington finished first with 191.875, the University of North Carolina finished second with a 190.650 and the

University of Pennsylvania finished third with a 187.500.

Sophomore Maggie Tolerico (36.525) finished eighth in the all-around and floor exercise (9.600). Senior Melissa Gramiak

finished 10th on the bars with a 9.300, senior Anne Koerner finished 13th on the beam with a 9.450 and senior Julie Gallagher

finished 13th on the vault with a 9.425.

Temple ended out the meet over the College of William & Mary (183.525) and Radford University (182.750).

The Owls will travel to Harrison, Va. to compete against James Madison and Rutgers on Saturday, January 29 at 1:00 p.m.
