Temple Concludes 2026 Season at EAGL Championships

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The Temple Owls posted a 194.350 for a fourth-place finish at the 2026 EAGL Championships hosted by the LIU Sharks. The Towson Tigers pulled away for the victory and the title of 2026 EAGL Champion. In second place, was the host school, LIU. The Sharks made an outstanding climb in the final rotation on bars to close the gap and overtake then second-place team New Hampshire.

Rotation 1 (VAULT: 48.850)
·     The Owls came out energized and ready to go at the 2026 EAGL Championships. The first rotation started on the vault and Temple put up its third-highest vault score of the season.
·     Freshman Jade Harden did not seem to be fazed by the big stage in her first ever EAGL Championship. The Florida native finished the night with a 9.775 on vault.
·     Junior phenom Amelia Budd put up her eight 9.800 or higher this season with tonight's 9.800 on vault.
·     Sophomore Nikki Rengifo posted the highest score for Temple on vault in the fifth position. She scored a 9.825 which is her third-straight week of a 9.800 or higher.
Rotation 3 (BARS: 48.250)
·     On the bars, freshman Ava Sutphen stood out, yet again. The New Jersey native tied a career-high 9.800 on the bars to lead Temple on the apparatus.
·     Mariella Brueck was not far behind Sutphen on the bars and finished with a 9.750 on the event which tied a season-high for her.
·     Junior Megan White finished the night on bars with a 9.700 in the fourth spot for Temple.
Rotation 4 (BEAM: 48.325)
·     Hailey Best started the fourth rotation off with a bang for Temple. The junior finished with her second-highest score of the season in a 9.825.
·     Sophomore Robyn Dunne showed strength and poise in her routine and posted a 9.750.
·     Freshman Ella Beck finished off her first ever collegiate season on the beam with a 9.675 for Temple.
Rotation 5 (FLOOR: 48.925)
·     The Owls soared on the floor in tonight's meet and finished with its second-highest score of the season on the event.
·     Nikki Rengifo and Brooklyn Thomas each tied with a 9.825 to lead the Cherry & White in the event.
·     Amelia Budd was not too far behind the duo and put up a 9.775 of her own.
