Jazmyn Estrella Returns to Temple as Women’s Gymnastics Assistant Coach

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's gymnastics announced Thursday the return of Jazmyn Estrella to the Temple family as she has been named assistant coach.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome Jazmyn Estrella back to Temple University," said Interim Head Coach Brittney Miller. "Jazmyn's dedication to this program has never wavered, and her passion for Temple Gymnastics is unmatched. We are fortunate to have someone who truly believes in our mission and is committed to helping lead our program into an exciting new chapter."
The Allentown, Pa. native returns to North Broad Street for her third stint with the Owls. Estrella was a volunteer assistant coach for Temple in 2023 where she helped lead the Owls to a 17-21 overall record. Prior to her time as a voluntary assistant, she spent two seasons competing as an Owl where she made her name known in the record books. On Feb. 21, 2020, Estrella set the uneven bars record with a 9.95. Her record still stands today. Estrella's individual accolades include seven event title wins, ECAC Gymnast of the Week, All-ECAC First Team (bars), First and Second Team (vault), and Second Team (beam). Estrella helped the Cherry and White to two consecutive ECAC Championships in 2019 and 2020, and the program's beam record.
"Temple has always been home, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to return to a program that has meant so much to me," said Estrella. "As an alumna, I understand what it means to wear the Cherry and White, and I'm excited to help our student-athletes raise the standard every day. I'm ready to bring energy, innovation, and a commitment to excellence as we continue elevating Temple Gymnastics!"
Estrella most recently served as an assistant coach at Iowa State during the 2026 season. Prior to that she spent two seasons at New Hampshire as an assistant coach.
